- Is a Lactation Educator the same as an IBCLC?
- No. A Lactation Educator trained with CAPPA offers education and practical support. Medical concerns such as tongue tie or significant weight loss are referred to an IBCLC or your pediatrician.
- Can you help if I am exclusively pumping or bottle feeding?
- Absolutely. Pumping rhythms, paced bottle feeding, and combination plans are supported with the same care as breastfeeding.
- Do you support feeding overnight?
- Yes — feeding education is woven into overnight and daytime care as well as standalone sessions.
